Highwood Hounds provides high energy outdoor playtime opportunities for your pint-sized pet. The Off-Leash Park Playtime is a great way to get in plenty of playing & romping & zooooming, as well as a SAFE environment to socialize & make new "Best Fur-ends" of all sizes.
New Clients to Highwood Hounds
Please note: Before being selected to join Highwood Hounds' pack walks, ONE walk in your community must be completed first. This walk is complimentary, on-leash or off-leash (TBD), with a 2 dog maximum. During this walk, I concentrate on building a relationship with your pet & assess any potential issues there might be, including flight risks, recall commands & leash aggression.
MOST dogs display a normal range of behaviours & needs & are happily welcomed to join the Highwood Hounds pack. If there are issues I feel I can't address during this walk, I may recommend more on-leash walks &/or specific training before introducing them to the big park.
I limit the number
of dogs that I'll walk at one time so that I can provide excellent
supervision. I pay special attention to pack dynamics & develop a
relationship with your pet based on mutual trust & respect. All dogs
in my care are managed using positive reinforcement methods only.
I vary the location
of our Off-Leash Park Playtime, depending on who will be joining us,
their recall skills & energy levels. We love the parks where there's plenty of
clean, open & safe space to run freeeeee...
