Hounds provides opportunities for your cherished pet to
get some great exercise, a chance to socialize & make new "fur-ends"
their own size.
Off-Leash Park Playtime
(Voted THE Most Fun Ever!)
60 to 90-minute Playtime: $18
We walk, run, explore & play fetch in one of Calgary’s safe off-leash parks in our city. Your little dog will be picked up mid-morning for their off-leash pack walk & dropped back at home tired & content.
Each dog is placed with a compatible group of pups with the same energy
& play levels whenever possible. During our walks, your dog will have a chance to build on their recall & listening skills & have a fun & stimulating time with all their little furends.
Fees include fresh water
during & after each walk, a
completed Dog Walking Report & nutritious "good doggie" treats.
NOTE:Travel time is not considered part of our walk so your little dog could be gone for up to 2-3 hours, depending on where we explore & how many doggies are joining us. Walks for all dogs are a minimum of 1 hour in length.

Puppy & Senior Potty Breaks
15-minute Break: $15
30-minute Break: $25
Visits include administering medications as needed, lots of hugs & cuddles & playtime, too. Water & food bowls will be refreshed & any messes are cleaned up. During
pee & poop breaks, your dog will be
let out in the yard or taken for a short walk to go potty. Of course, successes will be happily rewarded with "Good doggie" treats, if appropriate! NOTE: Emergency or non-emergency trips
to the vet are not included in the fee & but can be discussed on an
as-need basis.
I WILL NOT schedule home visits or walks for guardians who will
be away for longer than an average work day. Bad things can happen
quickly & I would NEVER advise anyone to leave their fur-end, young
or old, at home alone for an extended period of time! For these times,
it's best to have them stay at a reputable dog care facility (I can help
you with this) or you can leave them in the comfort of their own home
by using Highwood Hounds' Complete Home & Pet Care Services.
Canine Convalescence & Respite Care
15-minute Visit: $15
30-minute Visit: $25
If your dog is recovering from a recent injury, surgery or
is elderly, visits will include assessment & redressing of any
wounds (if necessary), administering medications & contacting you in
the event of any issues that may arise. If necessary, I can even
transport them to your veterinarian. You can relax knowing that someone
will be looking in & making sure that everything is fine at home.
Drop-in visits can be scheduled around you & your doggie's needs but
generally occur mid-day between 11:00am & 1:00pm.

Complete Home & Pet Care Services
Per 24-hour period: One Pet = $50
Additional Pets (Dog, Cat, Ferret, etc) = $10 per pet
There is NO CHARGE for caged animals, fish &/or birds

Billy & I schedule in-home care stays, providing a calm & stable environment, resulting in a less stressful experience for your pets while you're away because they're in the comfort of the home environment they're used to. Your dog(s) will enjoy
playtime
in their own home & yard, pee breaks by their own schedule, lots of positive attention & at
least ONE (& often TWO!) Off-Leash Park Playtime romps per day with the pack! Of
course, lots & lots of playtime & cuddles
are the norm! Billy is very respectful of your home, your dog's
space & is always happy to have someone to play with.
This is the perfect solution for older or timid dogs, dogs with special needs or for those who experience high levels of stress or separation anxiety when you go away. Having a home & pet sitter come into your home has a cost-effective advantage for multi-dog households & for "blended families", where more than one species of pet is living under the same roof.
Every pet is treated like my own, whether
they need playtime or quiet time, a special diet or medication,
a litter box change or cage cleaning, brushing &/or shampooing, etc.
Complete home care means that your home will be cared for just like you
were there yourself! We're very respectful of your space & give your home a secure, “lived-in”
look: lights, blinds & drapes are alternated, mail &
papers are taken in, garbage is put out for collection & furnaces, hot water tanks & freezer checks are done daily. Any
other reasonable requests to keep your home secure will be honoured.
Together, Billy & I make sure your pet's needs are met, your home is well cared for & you return home to a happy, unstressed & tired out pooch.
Private On-Leash Walks
15 minutes $15
30 minutes $25
This service is reserved for recovering or special-need dogs, an "old-timer" who can't
quite make it through a long day, doggies with serious recall issues or those who may have difficulty playing nice with
others. Walks include pick-up, drop-off & close supervision while we explore your own neighbourhood for a 15 to 30 minute walk. Love & attention, a
fresh water or food change, accident clean up, a Dog Walking Report
& "good doggie" treats (if appropriate), are provided on each visit.
NOTE:Due to a heavy schedule, this service is offered FIRST to
current & ongoing Highwood Hounds clientele on an as-needed basis. If you are new to Highwood Hounds & need occasional walks for your
dog(s), please contact me for availability & pricing.
